The cyclotron accelerator is currently used on a weekly basis for the routine productions of fluorine-18. The aim is to utilise the approved operating hours of 400 hours per year as fully as possible in the coming years.
The operating of the accelerator is overseen by the Structural and Licensing Directorate (SGD) South in Rhineland-Palatinate.
